CARPENTER’S CURE – Tallow Skin Treatment (.5 oz tube)

Non-greasy!! My carpenter and mechanic friends swear by the relief they experience when using this blend on their hard working hands. One of them kept our Tea Tree Oil Lip Balm in his pocket to apply to his cuticles and rough, split, and infected skin. He said nothing worked better! So it gave me the idea to make a larger size with more tea tree oil for its antiseptic properties.

Tallow is a traditional skin moisturizer that lost its place in the cosmetics industry in modern years in favor of high-profit margin petrochemicals. Because it is an animal fat, tallow is highly compatible with our skin (since we are also animals). It is readily absorbed, its nutritive and moisturizing properties effectively utilized. The hemp seed oil is a drying oil so it doesn’t leave behind a greasy film. So you can get back to work!

Ingredients: Grassfed tallow, organic hemp seed oil, organic sacha inchi oil, therapeutic grade melaleuca essential oil.

Carrell Farms created Buffalo Gal Grassfed Beauty as a way to innovatively use more of each animal we harvest and to reflect our own mission of health and wellness. We handcraft each small batch. A small amount of an organic seed oil is added for viscosity, along with a few drops of therapeutic grade essential oils for scent and added benefit. We do not use any waxes as moisture barriers, as we believe skin needs to breathe in order to function properly.

You may detect the naturally nutrient rich aroma of the tallow at times when this balm is applied. It may remind you of the smell of opening a bottle of vitamins. It will fade as it absorbs. A little bit goes a long way. Be sure to store your product in a cool, dry place. Because it is a fresh product, please use within a few months of purchase.
