Customer Frequently Asked Questions
To help us with our overhead costs, we ask that you pay an annual fee of $25 per household for one calendar year. You are welcome to try us for two orders before officially becoming members.
Unlike some co-ops, buying clubs, or CSAs where everyone gets the same box of stuff (and you don’t know what you’re getting until you get it), with Living Well Farmers Market, you get to order what you want, in the quantities that you want, from the farms that you want. The weekly email lists the produce and other artisan goods available that week, and you can browse the items on this website before you place your order.
Each Friday morning, a list of available products is sent to all of our registered customers by e-mail. Customers must place their order for the week no later than Sunday at midnight. Orders are placed on this website. Ordering through this web site is our only method as it is designed to reduce the amount of time it takes us to process orders as well as provide you with detailed information about our products.
We accept advance credit/debit card payment on the website via out card processor PayPal(digital secure payment network). You do not have to have a PayPal account. PayPal is our third-party payment processing company. They charge me a gateway fee and that fee is passed on to customers at this time, as I can’t absorb those costs. I choose not to hide that fee in the pricing to be completely transparent with all the fees.
If you have a Fresh Harvest organic produce basket delivered to the co-op pick up site, you will pay Fresh Harvest directly. When you create an account with them, your credit/debit card is saved and will be billed directly.
1 pm to 8 pm on WEDNESDAYS, customers can pick-up their co-op items at , 400 Buford Highway, Suite 1102, Suwanee 30024
I do not have the space or the means to keep produce boxes or co-op items after Thursday. If you have an emergency please contact me as soon as you can if you can’t pick up. I will accommodate special circumstances.
If you forget any items, it is your responsibility to contact us before 3 PM on Thursday. Anything left will be donated.
No Pick Up, Will Donate Policy- If you do not pick up your items by 3 pm on THURSDAY they will be donated. If you have an emergency please contact me to arrange pick up.* I encourage to check off the items on the packing list before you leave to make sure you don’t leave without an item. You will still be responsible for payment of anything left behind because I have already paid the farmers on your behalf. The only other exemption, besides an emergency, are the group buy items.
Enhance your local economy: By purchasing produce and other items from local growers you are providing stability to your local economy through the support of local businesses.
Save natural resources: Buying locally makes you an invaluable link in the process of saving resources such as fossil fuels and packaging materials. Also, we are right here in your community so the expense of transportation and delivery is kept to a minimum.
Provide learning opportunities: Locally Grown supporters provide member growers the means to help educate our community about the importance of sustainable agriculture.
Supporting a way of life: The number of small farms in the United States has decreased dramatically in the last decade. Please help us preserve an honest and worthy means of making a living.
We believe that small, diverse, family-owned farms contribute to society’s overall health.

We do offer raw dairy! The state has banned the sale of raw milk for human consumption through its interpretation of the Georgia Dairy Act of 1980 and also through its adoption of the 2003 version of the Pasteurized Milk Ordinance.
The sale of raw milk for animal consumption is legal if the distributor is licensed under the commercial feed laws. The Department of Agriculture currently has several distributors of raw goat milk for pet food under license.
All farms that sell raw dairy is licensed to sell raw dairy for pet consumption.
We no longer have a glass jar program
Our Mexico El Triunfo and Costa Rica La Amistad come to us with organic certifications. All of our coffees are grown with no chemicals and no pesticides. We only carry specialty grade coffees which are the top 3-5% beans available. They are mostly grown by small farms that often can’t afford to complete the organic certification process. Our importers visit the farms and see their growing methods, so they assure us that they are growing with no chemicals.
The other piece of it is that you’ll not see our bags with ‘organic’ on the labels. We have also not gone through the expensive process to be able to do that so they won’t allow us to say our Mexican and Costa Rican coffees are organic.
No Pick Up, Will Donate Policy– If you do not pick up your items by 8pm on Wednesday they will be donated. If you have an emergency and can’t find someone to pick up your items please contact us at (470) 238-3419 to arrange pick up. We are happy to work with you. We have limited space so we ask that you pick up only on Wednesdays.
It is the member’s responsibility to contact us.

The credit card processing company charges me 3% and the website developer charges an additional .5% for an increased layer of support. I pass on these fees so I can allow the convenience of credit card payment. I simply can’t absorb these operational costs due to the low margins on our items.
